Changing Seasons is an interactive website. It composes 3-line poems by combining romantic poetry (Emily Dickinson, William Blake, William Wordsworth) and posts from public gardening community forums (Reddit, Craigslist etc).
The goal of the website is to create a virtual poetry garden -- rich in metaphor, questions, and philosophy. Poets have used flowers as a metaphor for life. Specifically, the cycles of growth, stagnation, and death.
This piece aims at introducing whimsy into the reading of these classic poems, by combining the questions that arise during the very act of nurturing and growing a plant within communities.
Clicking on the central button refreshes the entire website, a nod to seasons and ephemerality. Click S to save, only if you must.
